Got back from hospital yesterday afternoon, and all I've been doing is sleeping.
They kept me in longer than expected. This was because during the operation, they discovered my thyroid gland was lot bigger than they thought it was. Basically it was HUGE. So what should have been a half an hour op turned into a four hour op. ugh.
The anasthetic really pulled one over on me, too. The day after the op, all I could do was dry-heave. Really, really nasty.
I also woke up with two tubes coming out of my neck as drains. That's why I stayed in hospital longer than expected. They were waiting for the drains to dry up enough to take out. And yeah, having tubes pulled out your neck isn't very nice.
Blegh. This entry might make sense, or it might not. I'm on quite a few pain killers right now so I don't care.
Just letting you know I'm fine. :D

So usually when I'm bored I think to myself "I really should be doing schoolwork.", and that instantly makes everything other than said work seem infinitely appealing. Except School has ended for me now, and even my exams are out of the way.
I AM SO GODDAMNED BORED. ARRGH.
And it's too hot. I want to leave my window open at night, but all the BUGS will come in. MY FAN IS FAR TOO SMALL. When will autumn get here? Autumn kicks ass.
My sleeping pattern is completely irregular now too. Last night I went to bed at 4am, woke up at 6am, had a bath, went back to bed at 10am and woke up at 4pm. What.
Yeah, um. Craving chocolate but all we have is cake. I don't want cake. I could settle for an ice cream.
I need to get a job. I need hobbies other than video games. I need to remember that even though my exams are finished, coherent sentences are still a plus.

Second to last exam tomorrow. It's a re-sit of my Media Critical Research paper because teachie re-entered everyone after we all did badly the first time round. I mean, seriously badly. Like, no one in the class got above a grade D. Either we all really, really suck at media, or the examiners got their sectaries to mark papers again. Because it isn't like THAT'S ever happened before.
So now I have to re-write 4 pages of preparation notes for the exam from scratch because I'm a dummy and didn't make copies of my old ones. But everyone knows I'm too lazy to do that and will turn up tomorrow with sod all. Which is actually okay because the exam only counts towards 15% of my total Media grade. Why the HELL am I re-sitting again? Oh yeah, it's because teacher didn't give us a choice. Because everyone knows we students LOVE doing extra exams when we could be playing World of Warcraft. And trust me when I say more than half my media class DO play World of Warcraft.
Well, anyway. Had another hospital appointment yesterday in preparation for my surgery. They asked me all sorts of irrelevant stuff ranging from my religion to my last period. I really don't know what that has to do with removing a thyroid gland.
I'm pretty sure they have enough of it already, but they also took MORE blood. They've been taking samples regularly for the last four years, and the blood test aren't gunna stop after my surgery.. I swear, my arms are beginning to look like those of a heroin addict.
I also found out that most cold medicines discourage their use if you suffer from a thyroid defect. Yeah.. Not looking forward to my next cold.
And a glass just shattered into a thousand tiny pieces over my carpet.. What a great time to be wearing socks, Ras!

So I woke up at 5pm and marveled at the fact that I'd slept a solid 14 hours and was still tired, then debated with myself if there was actually any point in me getting up at all. I decided there probably was, so I got up and stumbled around the house a bit and wondered where the hell my parents were, got some cereal and headed back to my room. Then I glanced at my clock again and realised it was AM and not fucking pm..
So now it's 7am and I can't fucking get back to sleep. argh. I hate it when I act like a ditz.

I failed another driving test. This was actually like.. two weeks ago, and I'm just a slacker at updating LJ.
This one wasn't as awesomely failed as my last one, though. Meaning; I actually drove really fucking well. I only failed on one error. ONE error. What I thought was a 30mph speed limit was actually a 20mph. :(
That wasn't what I thought I'd failed on, though. The examiner told me to turn right at the second set of traffic lights, so for the first set I moved into the right hand lane to go straight across, because I knew these traffic lights and trying to change lanes before the second set is a real pain in the ass. I was unlucky and got stuck behind a monster of a lorry indicating a right turn, but without thinking, I followed him out past the traffic lights. It was only until I was right in the middle of the crossroads that I realised the situation I was in. The lorry in front of me was so fucking big, it'd take a miricle for a gap to appear large enough for it to turn right into. If the lights changed before it managed to get round, I was gunna be stuck there too. Right in the middle of the crossroads. Holding every car in Norwich up. I should have held back at the lights until I knew the lorry'd get round, but I didn't. As I sat there in the car, slowly freaking out, I turned to my Examiner to see how he was reacting to the situation. He was sitting there, slouched, window open, completely in a world of his own and WHISTLING. What the fuck? He knew he was supposed to be examining, right?
Well anyway. I got across just as the lights changed, avoided potential road rage from everyone in Norfolk, and then I found out what I'd actually failed for. That was an ass and half. Then I had to listen to my instructer whine about how the examiner could have let it go, since it was my only fault.. Really didn't need to know that, but thanks for trying.
Third time lucky, huh? >.>

Today I found out that half of my Sixth Form play World of Warcraft. I also found out that half of my Sixth Form play Alliance.
As a fully certified member of the Horde, I felt it was my duty to throw abuse at them all day long. Such as "For the Horde!", "Alliance is for pussies!" and "LEEEEROY!!".
Today was totally awesome. I'm just glad a play on a different server.

So it's friday, and my English Lit. coursework was due last thursday. How hard can it be to write 2500 words? Apparently it's disgustingly hard FOR ME. My teacher is about ready to have me hung, drawn and quartered. But I'm totally not worried..!
MinamiCon was so much fun. Except I came out of it with copious amounts of bruises. Love you too, Kez!! Dealers room and Bring and Buy was pretty awesome as usual. I bought figurines of Zidane and Steiner because... ZIDANE AND STEINER OMG FFIX LOOOVE <333. I also bought large amounts of strawberry pocky and wine kitkats. None of which survived until the end of the con. Kez and I tried stalking a few people, but of course stalking means one usually has to be able to see quite well, which was my ultimate downfall.
Uh. Really don't know what else to say. The surgery on my neck in the summer should be okay to go ahead. My surgeon is called Mr Pain. Spelling isn't offical though. I'm hoping for 'Payne'. Though when I told one of my school friends, they came up with one of the most retarded comments ever; "At least he isn't called Mr Torture."
I LACK SLEEP AND I HAVE A TUMMYACHE.
Oh, my neighbors had a little girl a few days ago. :D She's fucking adorable. But with three older brothers, I feel sorry for her.
